Day 22: Book Review #2

Seraphina by Rachel Hartman

In the kingdom of Goredd, dragons and humans live and work side by side— but below the surface, tensions and hostilities are on the rise.

The newest memeber of Goredd’s royal court, a uniquely gifted musician named Seraphina, holds a deep secret of her own. One that she guards with all of her being.

When a member of the royal family is brutally murdered, Seraphina is drawn into the investigation alongside the dangerously perceptive, and dashing, Prince Lucian.

But as the two uncover a sinister plot to destroy the wavering peace of the kingdom, Seraphina’s struggle to protect her secret becomes increasingly difficult… while its discovery could mean her very life.

I haven’t really read any books that were related to dragons but this book was really good! This book not only includes the topic of dragons but also talks about music and art as well prejudice and self-confidence. Anyone who loves to read fantasy books should definitely read this book. Also, read the sequel to this book which is called Shadow Scale.
